Carols Simply Vintage Events - 70's night. The whole experience was more fun than we could have imagined, and although we were a couple, the ambience was more like a wedding where everyone was dancing with everyone. (At one point only two of the 80 or so guests were seated!!) Decent fish and chips and outrageous musical reminders of songs we'd forgotten meant we were toe-tapping all night ......and a few days later!
Carols' (keyboards/vocals) voice is a mix of powerful and gorgeous bluesy tones: lovely control and so well complimented by by the exceptional and versatile talent of Mick on guitar and elec-trickery!
We can only thank you both for an exceptional evening, and stress how much we are looking forward to your next event. Peter & Kiki. X.

Thanks to Carol and her team for organising a fantastic event for Kenilworth Wardens Cricket Club’s 75th party. The organisation and communication was spot on from start to finish and all the members thoroughly enjoyed the night. So much so that we’re already booking our next one! Cheers

Hello Carol,
What a brilliant night we had at your recent 1940's evening! 80 likeminded people, most of them donning 1940's fashions (and looking superb) joined in the entertainment. Live 1940's music from the Dolby's. 1940's Big band vinyl music. Swing Dancing, Rock 'n' Roll, a forties quiz, a good old English Fish and Chip supper and all for a tenner! Can't grumble at that! All-in-all an enormously successful evening, can't wait for the next. Well done to the organisers!

Had such an amazing time at the 40s event in Burton Green, everyone was dressed up and in the 40s zone which was just fabulous!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the old tunes, getting involved with the dancing and stuffing my face with fish and chips!

Such a fantastic night, hosted by two amazingly talented people, all for £10! Bargain!
Will most definitely without a doubt, be attending one of Carol's events again, they are just not to be missed! Roll on the 50s night!

When Dave and I were Mayor and Mayoress of Kenilworth we were fortunate enough to be invited to the opening launch of the Play "We'll Meet Again"

The play itself was absolutely brilliant! There were emotional parts and parts that made you laugh. The actors were very professional in thier roles, it gave you a good insight into the war years nd of all the hardships and problems people had to go through.

We would highly recomend this play to everyone. We still talk about it and given the chance we would like to see it again.

I am so pleased that we were able accomodate your play We'll Meet Again here at the Hippodrome. The time of year made it all the more poignant and the references to local places and people meant that it really connected with the audience. It was especially beneficial to our schools who came in at the end of production. Giving out rations was a master stroke. So glad it was a success. Please let me know if and when you write another.
